A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller setup. Uses a bat tip to get his barrel going during his leg lift load. A strong kid that takes a mostly level path to the baseball. Bat speed is developing and barrel showed solid whip through the zone. Showed present gap pop with much more to come as he fills out his projectable frame. Should grow into a run producer with maturity. On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Uses a high leg lift and lands closed at foot strike. Arm works well through a high-3/4 slot. Arm action is clean with above average arm speed. Fastball comes out of the hand well, staying mostly true the zone. His best secondary offering was his breaking ball. Puts good spin on the pitch that works on an 11/5 plane. The pitch has some depth to it with enough action to miss barrels. Also showed a changeup, losing a little arm speed. Still developing feel for the offering.

6-foot, 185-pound prospect. Quick tempo on the mound. Uses a small leg kick. Needs to work on consistently getting over his front side. Throws with some quickness to his arm through a high ¾ slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph. Breaking ball showed potential when he was out in front with it. Typically sat at 67-69 mph with gradual break. Also mixed in a 73-75 mph changeup. Offensively, he starts in an open setup at the plate. Uses an ambush approach with his lower half. Hands stay simple prior to taking a downhill path to the baseball. Showed impressive pop when he found the barrel. Was at this best when he worked the middle of the field. Defensively, he starts in athletic position. Good job attacking the ball to his glove side. Has tendency to field the ball flat footed when fielded straight on. Would like to see him use natural athleticism to create angles toward first base and maintain his momentum. Transfer is clean and quick. Arm strength will allow him to play on the left side of the infield at the next level.

8/23/15
5-foot-11, 170-pound solid build. Right-handed hitter that is spread out and balanced in the batters box. Good rhythm in his hands with a flat swing and high finish. Registered top exit velocity of 82 mph and ran a 7.65-60. In the infield he shows good range for his age and tends to field the ball into his body. Clean transfer and throws from a 3/4 slot with 78 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound he has a slow tempo delivery with a small lift and speeds up at foot strike. Throws from a quick, high-3/4 slot with his fastball sitting 73-76 mph some arm side run. Spins a breaking ball with gradual 11/5 break at 63-66 mph. Showcased a changeup with good arm speed at 67-69 mph.
