Has a loose level swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 76 mph; had a natural exchange, consistent footwork, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.65 at the event.
Joe Griffiths: RHP/SS, (2024) Avon High School, OH. 6-foot-4, 170-pound. Capable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 86 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, and used a simple swing plane. Found multiple barrels during his round. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 69 mph; has consistent hands, consistent feet, and a quick exchange. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.35. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. Shows a clean finish. Curveball (60-65 mph), changeup (68-70 mph).Threw his fastball 75-77 mph.
