7/17/18 A righty swinger that starts in a wider setup. His physicality allows him to generate gap pop through a simple swing. Strength is ahead of bat speed but bat speed is still and above average tool. Middle of the lineup type who takes a loud BP. Very quick feet/transfer behind the dish. Can easily see him being a sub 2.0 guy in the near future as arm strengthens. Showed receiving abilities on par for class with the willingness to block. A physical bat from the right side. Hands move back with barrel maintaining fluidity through load and into launch. Lower half is smooth as well using a double tap for timing. Swings with intent, showing natural loft to his path. Swing can get out of control at times, causing him to pull off. Ball really jumped when he stayed through contact. Flashed regular gap pop with flashes of pull side power. Very solid catch and throw guy for class behind the dish. Feet are quick and create solid direction. Transfer is clean, getting rid of it quickly. Arm has noticeable whip and projects for more strength with maturity.

5/31/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is fluid, incorporating a leg kick. Hands stay simple prior to getting the barrel through the zone on a slightly downhill path. Very fast bat with strength through contact. Creating more distance between his bat and his body in his loading sequence would let his impressive natural tools show more frequently in his swing, allowing his hands to work freely. Behind the plate he starts in a mid crouch. Gets out of his crouch quickly. Exchange skills would be area of improvement.

2/18/17 6-foot, 195-pound prospect. Behind the dish, he starts in a wide stance. Takes a jab step forward. Transfer has some length to it. Will be aided by better glove to hand exchange. Short arm action through high ¾ to over the top slot. Pop times between 2.3 to 2.36. At the plate he initiates his loading sequence through a leg kick load while keeping his hands simple. Does a nice job of staying fluid throughout his loading sequence. Path is slightly downhill and swing is compact. Showed solid strength through contact and the ability to use the entire field. Would be aided by creating more space between his bat and his body at launch to let his hands work freely.
