Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic body frame. From behind the dish he has good, efficient footwork, while maintaining good direction on his throws to second base. Has an ideal catcher’s arm action recording pop times between 2.16-2.27 and reached a top velocity of 78 mph. Right-handed hitter starts his swing from a wider base. Has a fluid load with his hands moving past his back shoulder and finishes with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use the whole field during his round of batting practice. Recorded a top exit velocity of 87 mph and ran a 7.95 60-yard dash.
A right-handed bat that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a fluid bat tip/leg kick combination for loading sequence. Swing works on an uphill plane with noticeable strength in there. Has run produce potential once bat speed catches up to strength. Offers present gap abilities. Behind the dish he stood out for arm strength. Both transfer and footwork are on parr for class but the ball jumps out of his hand. Throws with both carry and accuracy.

Recorded an 83 mph exit velocity with his level bat showing nice contact and average pop mostly the other way during his round. Behind the plate he sets up from a tall, wider stance. Developing footwork. Ball to hand transfer was quick. Showed nice arm strength with a 76 mph throwing velocity down to second. Recorded 1.89-1.97 pop times.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a slightly open setup. Goes with a double tap for timing while taking hands slightly back to launch. Finds plane well and creates early bat speed. Path is level with a line drive swing in general. Swing is efficient and he should see easy increases in pop as he adds strength to his athletic frame. Impressed behind the dish with quick feet and clean exchange. Arm is an above average tool as well. Frame is ideal for the spot.
