2/12/17
6-foot-1, 165-pound athletic, projectable frame. The ball looks different coming out of the hand of ‘17 RHP Juan Broom. The Ohio State commit has impressive arm speed and a very heavy 85-87 mph fastball. All physical signs point to more velocity to come as he matures. The secondary stuff has room to get better but Broom has the arm talent to be a high velocity guy for the Buckeyes.

6/30/15
6-foot, 170-pound athletic body frame. On the mound he throws with regular effort to his delivery, landing in a straight line at foot strike. He throws with average arm speed, coming from an upper ¾ slot. His fastball was between 80-86 mph. His curveball had gradual break with 11/5 tilt between 66-68 mph. His changeup was thrown using fastball arm speed at 73-76 mph.

2/22/15
6-foot-3, 165-pound prospect with athletic, projectable frame. Long, loose arm action through high-¾ arm slot. Tendency to collapse on his back leg, which causes him to pitch uphill. Fastball sat at 82-84 mph with arm-side run. Mixed in a 68-69 mph sinker with some downward action to it. Breaking ball sat at 63-65 mph and was often up in the zone. Changeup is thrown with good arm speed at 74-75 mph.
