Body Type: 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect with a physical build.
Swing Mechanics: Simple approach mechanically.
Hit: Lefty swinger with obvious burst at the plate and well above average natural tools. Works the middle of the field with backspin abilities.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity. Present gap abilities. Ball comes off well.
Offensive Projection: Middle of the Lineup.
Run: 4.57 H-1st. Moves well for how physical he is. Really got moving around the bases.
Field: Bat is top tool but he has an adequate skill set as a defender that will play in the corners.
Throw: 76 mph arm strength.
Defensive Projection: Corner Outfield.
Additional Comments: Stood out with the hit tool in BP and in game, offering some of the more raw power we saw all day in the showcase and recorded 4 hits in game with multiple extra base hits.
Body Type: 6-foot 185-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Starts in a medium, balanced setup and uses a leg kick to initiate his load. Shows an on plane to flat bat path that keeps his barrel through the zone decently well.
HIt: Average bat to ball ability.
Power: 77 mph exit velocity
Offensive Projection: Present skill set would line up best with taking a line drive singles approach to all fields.
Field: In the outfield he attacks the ball pretty well and plays through it.
Throw: 74 mph from the outfield.
Run: 4.63 home to first.
Defensive Projection: Presently would project best as a corner OF type at the next level, probably LF.
A lefty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Goes with a leg kick for timing while keeping hands quiet prior to launch. A strong kid with good hand speed. Path is level with some loft to it. Ball comes off well, especially to opposite field gap. Stays inside the ball well and will flash the ability to turn on the ball. Loudest contact/truest ball flight occurred to his opposite field. In the outfield he looks fluid in his approach. Plays low through the baseball, maintaining most of his momentum into his throws. Arm action is shorter with average strength for class. Accuracy was inconsistent.
