5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect with athletic frame. Had breakout performance at TPG after running a 6.38 60. Still a tad raw in other areas of the game, but possess elite speed that plays and will draw the attention of DI programs. Swing still needs some work. Hands work, but quick in and out of the zone on uphill path. Top exit velocity of 86 mph. In game play, he tripled, singled, and bunted for a hit. In the outfield, he projects as a center field type. Good reactions and reactions. Glides in the outfield. Arm plays, but needs to continuing improving strength. Top velocity of 82 mph on his throws.
8/1/12
5-foot-10, 155-pound outfield prospect. Exceptional speed with a 6.66 60-yard dash. Right now, shows the speed to play center, but needs to improve the arm strength and mechanics. He reached a top velocity of 74 mph on his throws. Uses a low ¾ arm slot with long arm action. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance. Shows some balance and good use of a strong lower half. Squares the ball up well and shows good pull power for his size.
1/28/12
Smallish body, extremely athletic. Excellent foot speed (4.75 40 yd on concrete surface). Shows good life and range defensively with good hands. Solid 3-4 arm strength. Currently has speed to outplay any mistakes. Open stance as a hitter, tries to power the ball but should be contact guy to put defense on their heels. Doesn't square front side and needs better load of moderate bat speed. Currently D-1 athlete with small college hitting ability.
