Left-handed hitter that has an advanced combination of strength and hands speed for class. Swing was electric at times, spraying it all over the yard. Type of bat who has a chance to hit for average and occasional power. Has some room to grow as a defender but with his athleticism/ball skills you’d expect him to grow into a serviceable defender as that bat will put college coaches in the stands.
Top overall hit tool at the event. Very smooth, efficient loading sequence that creates both timing and energy. Nice, level path through the zone. Generates impressive pop with a lower effort swing. Sprayed the ball with authority all over the field. Not a flashy defender but sure-handed out there with a 2B/3B type skill set. With his athleticism/hit tool from the left side he will be a guy college coaches are out to see.
