Body Type: 6-foot-3 190 pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Athletic balanced stance with a fluid swing.
Hit: Good feel in the box that hits to all fields. Ball flight most natural to the middle of the field.
Power: Effortless pop. More to come as he develops.
Offensive Projection: Middle of the lineup.
Field: Very solid defender. Rangy with athletic actions. Glove really plays. Middle infielder actions with third baseman frame.
Throw: Very accurate arm with enough pop for all three positions.
Defensive Projection: Left side of infield.
It was our first real look at Arnold and he was very impressive on both sides of the ball. At the plate he flows through his loading sequence keeping his hands noticeably loose during his leg kick timing trigger. A strong kid with above average bat speed. Ball comes off well, taking one of the louder BPs of the day. Also looked the part in the infield showing middle infield ball skills matched with his 3B frame. Really solid player. On the bump he looked clean and athletic, sitting 80-82 mph with the fastball showing the ability to run or cut the pitch.

6-foot-2, 175-pound, athletic build. Easy lift with good rhythm and balance in his delivery. Works through a ¾ slot with a short quick arm action. Finishes slightly closed at landing. He threw his fastball for strikes. The pitch has late cutting action and sits in the 76-78 range. His curveball needs continued development. At 64-65 mph the pitch has occasional depth in an 11/5 shape. He also showed a 66-67 mph changeup with some sink. A very fluid right-handed hitter. Incorporates a leg kick while taking his hands to launch. Bat gets through the zone with definite quickness on a level path. Showed gap to gap pop in batting practice, working to both sides of the field. In the infield, he starts from a wide stance. Will be aided by playing from his toes. Tendency to field the ball flat footed and tops his momentum. Throws with short arm action through high ¾ slot.
