Luke Burroughs: RHP/2B, (2024) Springboro High School, OH. 6-foot, 165-pound. Starts in an open narrow stance with a controlled compact load, then uses a controlled leg kick. Created some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Athletic advanced while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 82 mph; showed smooth rhythmic feet, soft next level hands, and a quick twitchy exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Raw solid on the mound, showed quick good arm speed, also used a short compact arm action and an over-the-top ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who shows decent effort. Balance point is tall with even shoulders during delivery. Lands closed with upright finish.  (Max spin 2247; Avg 2190). 

Luke Burroughs: RHP/SS, (2024) Springboro, OH. 5-foot-11, 140-pound. At the plate, Burroughs recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. Started in a tall open stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick developing, showed a level loose swing plane and good extension on his balanced finish. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 75 mph; had athletic fluid footwork, soft consistent hands, and a quick natural exchange. Uses his glove deep. On the mound, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Feel up-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Threw his fastball 79-80 mph. Shows running action. (Max spin 2227; Avg 2189). He has a 11/5 sharp curveball (65-66). (Max spin 2025; Avg 2024). His changeup shows fading sinking action. Shows a sharp slider (70-72) with sweeping action.
