2/14/19 Body Type: 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple approach mechanically from the left side.
Hit: Handsy hitter that can really spray it and has added some thump since we saw him last. Impressed with how balanced he stays throughout his swing. Very solid round with effortless pop and the ability to square up the baseball regularly.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles. Good athlete that could start it off, be a table setter, or drive em in.
Run: 4.25 H-1st.
Field: Smooth defender that checks all the boxes. Ball skills are there and feet work well.
Throw: 80 mph arm strength across the diamond. Very low effort release, looking like he just flicks it across the infield. This allows him to generate near max velocity from multiple angles and body positions.
Defensive Projection: All three skill spots.
Additional Comments: Very talented, well-rounded player that makes it look easy on the baseball field. Don’t be shocked if he is an impact guy at Kent.
2/16/18 Smaller athletic build with tons of energy. Presented clean actions defensively in the infield with a smooth glove and above average ball skills. Timbrook threw across the diamond at 78 mph with good accuracy hitting the first basemen on a line every throw. His feet moved extremely well working around the ball and taking good angles that lead into his solid throws. Good abilities that projects ell at 2B for the next level. A lefty bat with a quick, compact stroke. Creates balance and separation through efficient, well timed movements to loading sequence. A line drive guy with impressive feel for finding the barrel. Will work all fields with easy backspin to the middle of the field. Top of the lineup candidate.
Infield Velocity: 78
Exit Velocity: 84
