Scouting Notes: Impressive, well-rounded performance. Stood out as a position player then hopped on the mound and was up to 83 mph with a sharp breaking ball. Good athlete with two-way potential at the next level.

Swing mechanics:  Small leg that works.  Smooth and athletic load that engages his entire body.

Field: Aggressive and plays through the ball. Looks like a reliable defender in the outfield.
Throw: Thows were accurate showing some carry. Arm strength is still developing.
Defensive Projection: Defensively could play all three outfield spots.

Features a thin and athletic frame with tight arm action.  A 4 seam fastball that ranges between 79-81mph.  A developing curveball with an 11-5 break.  Keeps both upper and lower body in sync which results in a consistent release point.  More in the tank.  Very projectable.

An aggressive swinger from the right side. Uses a leg kick to get things going while keeping hands simple prior to swing decision. Barrel works on a mostly level path and he generates impressive bat speed through the zone. Ball comes off his bat well as he works through a mostly pull approach. Displayed some of the top raw power at the event and he has more to come as he adds strength. In the outfield he is mechanically sound and has fluidity to his actions. Plays one-handed through the baseball and keeps momentum throughout the fielding process. Threw with accuracy and throws showed carry. On the mound he has good tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Uses a chest high leg lift prior to his drop and drive load. Arm is clean and ball comes out well. Fastball stays mostly true through the zone and is heavy at 75-77 mph. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape to it and shows potential of growing into an out pitch. Also displayed a playable changeup, maintaining fastball arm speed. Very impressive performance on the bump.
