At the plate he starts in a wider setup. Impressive natural tools with obvious pop. Took one out of the park to left field in batting practice. Bat speed and strength are there. Path is level and he showed the ability to produce backspin consistently in batting practice. Very impressive at the plate. Very mechanically sound behind the plate. Starts in a low crouch and transitions smoothly into his throws. Does a nice job creating momentum and direction with his footwork. Arm strength is above average and throws were on the bag.

6-foot, 185-pound athletic body frame. Right-handed hitter starts from a wide base, using a slight, rhythmic weight shift with his lower half to his back leg to generate power. Uses a fluid load with his hands moving to his back shoulder. Swings with a level bat path through the zone, finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Reached a top exit velocity of 89 mph and ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. From behind the plate, he shows a quick transfer and good footwork. Throws from a high ¾ slot with pop times ranging 1.96-2.01. In the infield he fields the ball out in front of his body. Funnels it into his body and transitions into a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. Threw across the diamond with 75 mph arm strength.

On the mound he shows a smooth delivery that requires some effort. Shows good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Lands slightly closed on his front side and finishes square to the plate. Throws with a short back arm action into a high ¾ slot with average arm speed. Fastball sat 74-78 mph with the breaking ball sat 61-64 mph with gradual break on an 11/5 plane. At the plate he uses a simple approach mechanically. Takes his hands slightly back during his short stride forward. Has definite quickness to his bat and gets through the zone on a level path. Produced consistent line drives in batting practice. Registered an exit velocity of 88 mph and ran a 4.58 from home to first. Behind the plate he showed quickness to both his feet and his transfer. His 73 mph arm strength on his throws to second base are above average for his age. Was able to consistently put the ball on the bag. Registered pop times ranging from 2.19-2.31. In the infield he has some quickness to his feet with average glove skills. Would like to see him field the ball out in front of his body more consistently. Threw across the infield with 75 mph arm strength.

5-foot-9, 165 pounds with an average frame. Ran a 7.72 60 yard dash time.  At the plate, he uses a short stride and level bat path. Some pull tendencies in swing. Registered an 84 mph exit velocity. Behind the dish, he popped 2.19-2.30. Feet show good technique. Throws through a ¾ slot while topping out at 69 mph.
