8/2/16
5-foot-10, 155-pound thinner, athletic body frame. From the outfield he uses athletic footwork to approach the baseball doing a good job of carrying his momentum, transitioning smoothly into his throws. Throws with a clean arm action through an upper ¾ slot using 79 mph velocity from the outfield. At first base he uses good footwork moving around the bag well, and moves well laterally off the bag covering good ground. Recorded a top velocity of 77 mph across the infield. The left-handed hitter starts his swing from a wide base using an inward turn with his front foot to initiate a fluid lower half loading sequence. Has a fluid load with his hands moving past his back shoulder. Swings with a mostly level bat path, finishing his swing with a high two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Recorded a top exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 4.62 home to first base time. On the mound the lefty’s delivery doesn’t require much effort. Lands slightly more closed at foot strike with his momentum starting to drift toward third base side. Throws with quickness to his arm speed through a high ¾ slot. Offers a good three-pitch mix, with his fastball ranging from 76-79 mph. Has good feel for the curveball that offers late breaking action with 2/7 tilt at 66-67 mph. Throws the changeup with good arm speed and shows gradual tailing movement between 67-69 mph.

2/20/16
Matt is a versatile prospect with a thin, athletic build at 5-foot-10, 150-pounds. A left-handed hitter that starts in a wider, balanced setup and uses a toe-turn load to initiate his swing sequence. Hands move slightly back before getting in and out of the zone quickly on a level path. Was able to consistently square balls up in batting practice and reached a top exit velocity of 80 mph. Radtka showed his versatility by showing well both at first base and in the outfield. In the outfield he had fluid actions with the ability to play through the ball nicely. Has an efficient transfer and threw to home plate accurately, with 80 mph arm strength to home plate. Looked very confident and athletic at first base during his infield session. Moves off the bag well and has a quick transfer on his double play balls. Using his short, clean arm action he threw across the infield with 75 mph arm strength. On the mound he has fluid mechanics that should translate to easy velocity gains as he gets older and matures. Used good tempo to a delivery that requires minimal effort. Showed command of all three of his pitches with his fastball sitting 76-79 mph. Curveball had a 1/7 shape to it with signs of sharpness at 62-65 mph. His best offspeed pitch was his 69-73 mph changeup that had late run and sink while staying down in the zone.

2/15/16
5-foot-10, 150-pound average build. On the mound he shows smooth rhythm in his delivery that is easy effort. Shows good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Throws with a short back arm action into a high ¾ slot with quick arm speed. Fastball sits 74-78 mph. Curveball sits 63-68 mph with sharp 1/7 break. Changeup sits 68-70 mph. At the plate he has a swing full of efficient movements. Swings with good strength and batspeed for his build and registered a top exit velocity of 76 mph. Swing should easily translate to game action as he projects as a top of the lineup hitter at the next level. Very good defensively in the outfield with fluid actions and the ability to play through the ball well. He threw with 79 mph arm strength to home plate. Also a viable option in the infield at first base. Very athletic around the bag with a quick transfer on his double play balls. From a high-¾ slot he threw across the infield with 73 mph arm strength. Ran a 4.17 from home to first.

1/24/16
5-foot-10, 150-pound tall thin build with room to fill out. A left-handed hitter that starts with a wide setup and uses a toe-turn, no stride load with his lower half. Hands start on his shoulder and move up during his load. Takes a direct path to the ball and gets in and out of the zone quickly. Exit velocity was 79 mph. Ran a 4.17 from home to first. He used very good, athletic footwork from the outfield to maintain his momentum through fielding position into his throws. Threw from a high-¾ slot with 78 mph arm strength to home plate. From first base he moves well around the bag. He funnels the ball up into his body and transfers well into a high ¾ slot with 67 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound the southpaw used good temp and a delivery he was able to repeat with little effort. Using clean arm action from a high-¾ slot his fastball sat 75-78 with natural run. Curveball showed signs of being sharp with a 1/7 shape at 63-65 mph. His best offspeed pitch was his 67-68 mph changeup with natural run and sink using fastball arm speed.
