Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Obvious physicality in the box. Smooth mover that leads into an aggressive launch. Slight uphill tendencies. Worked line to line in BP with more natural flight to the middle.
Power: Easy gap pop, ball jumps.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.

Field: Frame/skill set play over at third base. Fluid actions. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Clean arm with easy jump out of the hand.
Defensive Projection: 3B.
Scouting Notes: Physical presence on the mound. Works with good tempo. Very loose, late arriving arm. Fastball/breaking ball guy for the most part. Mixed well. Up to 84mph on this day and we've seen up to 89 mph prior.

Scouting Notes:High level arm talent. 6-foot-2 with a loose, whippy arm that can generate fastball velocities in the upper 80s (saw up to 89 this winter). Velo was a bit down today coming off an outing this weekend. Secondary wise breaking ball is more more than serviceable and the changeup looks to be a work in progress. Threw strikes throughout his outing.

Hit: Vertical narrow stance that displays an effortless stroke. Mechanics are flawless as he does a great job with his weight transfer and timing of swing.
Power: 92mph exit velo with a max distance of 316 feet.
Offensive Projection: Gap to gap line drive hitter.
Field: Low to middle crouch position with a quick ball to hand transfer. Accuracy on throw downs are a plus.
Throw: 85mph infield velo with a 79 catcher velo. Pop time of 1.89
Defensive Projection: Solid defender behind the dish.
Delivery Notes: A simple lower half that lands slightly closed off. Ability to transfer power from the lower half into the ¾ arm action
transferring to the ball.
Fastball: 85-89mph with a 2100-2300rpm spin rate with some arm side run.
Curveball: 70-71mph with a 2200-2400rpm spin rate. Breaking ball has pace w/power potential
Changeup: 74-77mph Good arm action on CH
6/20/18
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound big, physical right handed pitcher in the 2021 class. Uses a more up tempo delivery with a slight inward turn on the leg lift. Requires a little more than regular effort while finishing directly in line with home plate. Arm action is short on the backside with a small stab before working through a near high ¾ slot. Fastball comes out of the hand well at 78-79, topping at 81 mph. Works with some arm side run.Breaking ball is slurvy with 11/5 shape with gradual break. When spun well can be a nice pitch at 65-68 mph. Occasional becomes a bigger near 12/6 with more up and down depth. Two-way prospect. At the plate he swings it from the right side, starting in a balanced setup. Leg kick timing trigger with a vertical barrel launch. Physical kid with above average bat speed. Level path that gives him a large margin for error for timing. Run producer frame and skill set.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open setup. Uses a leg kick for timing while keeping hands simple prior to launch. Balanced launch with separation at foot strike. Path is slightly uphill generating above average natural tools through the zone. Above average pop for class as well. Liked what I saw behind the dish. Good athlete back there with feel for the spot. Looked solid in game and threw it really well in showcase. Solid defender.
