6-foot-2, 170 pound RHP has good mound presence. Showed the ability to command both sides of the plate with a cut action on his fastball. Threw 82-85 mph with late life. Curve is his out pitch currently moving with a 11/5 shape 73-75 and a sinking change up 71-73 mph.

6-foot-2, 170 pound prospect has long legs and wide shoulders. A projectable frame that should continue to develop over the years. On the mound showed good composure. Takes a step left, lowering his glove moving to his balance point with a slight pause prior to throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle with some effort falling towards the 1B line. Fastball flashed arm side run sitting 83-85 mph. 11/5 breaking curve 72-74 mph.

Butler has a lanky 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame. He throws from a high-3/4 arm slot and has a long arm action. His fastball sat 76-82 mph with some downhill action. His curveball showed good depth and 11/5 break at 65-69 mph. His changeup is thrown with fastball arm speed and had fade at 71-74 mph. He showed the ability to throw all three pitches for strikes and body control throughout his motion.
