Michael Pollard: OF/2B, (2021) Walsh Jesuit, OH. St. Peters Commit, 5-foot-8, 180-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Pollard recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. Setup included open athletic stance and a smooth quick load. Had quick bat speed and a level swing plane. Above average from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 77 mph; has soft hands, quick athletic feet, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball one hand, movements laterally were athletic. Clocked a time of 7.14 in the 60-yard dash.

Field:In the outfield he plays with quick feet while remaining controlled in his approach. Tempo will slow a bit during play through for ball security. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw:Accurate deliveries, developing strength.

Hit: Simple rock and load athletic approach. Sees the ball well with a solid level bat path.
Power: Line drive hitter, works both sides of field. 84mph exit velo.
Offensive Projection: Gap to gap hitter/line drive guy
Field: Gathers himself well with smooth solid footwork when approaching the ball.
Throw: 78mph outfield velo.
Defensive Projection: Corner outfield


Body Type: 5-foot-7, 160-pound frame.
Swing Mechanics: Righty swinger with a simple, athletic load.
Hit: Quick hands through the zone with some strength at contact. Can get a bit too downhill at times causing inconsistencies in ball flight. Tools are there to hit. Ball flight was at its best to the middle of the field.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup.

Field:  In the outfield he uses a controlled tempo throughout sequence. Ball skills are on par for his class.

Throw:  Throws from over the top with intent.  Gets a lot of carry on all of his throws.

Defensive Projection:  Corner outfield.
