2/10/19

Body Type: 6-foot-2, 200-pound very physical prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Physical left-hander with a balanced stance. Uses a leg kick timing trigger with quiet hands prior to swing decision.

Hit: Slightly downhill stroke with obvious physicality through contact. Showed pull side tendencies in BP. Ball really came off well when he connects. Upside bat.

Power: 88 mph exit velocity. Easy gap abilities with emerging power.

Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup.

Run: 7.14 60-yard dash.
Field: Corner frame and skill set. More athletic than frame would suggest out there with above average ball skills.

Throw: 89 mph arm strength to home plate. Ball jumps out of hand and throws show carry.

Defensive Projection: RF w/above average athleticism.

2/19/17
6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect with big, solid frame. Projects as a corner outfield type. Footwork is average. Fields the ball to the outside of his glove side foot. Uses a small crow hop. Long arm action through ¾ slot with top velocity of 84 mph. A lefty bat that has a fluid loading sequence where he incorporates a leg kick to create energy with his lower half. Hands stay loose as the move to launch, producing solid whip through the zone. Bat speed and strength are both well above average tools. Consistently drove the ball with authority in batting practice and registered an exit velocity of 93 mph.

60 Yard Dash: 7.25
Position Velocity: 84
Exit Velocity: 93

1/28/17
6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect with big, physical frame. In the outfield, he projects as a corner type. Shows long arm action with top velocity of 79 mph to his throws. Has some length in his transfer. Bat is his best tool, which may eventually lead him to first base. Strong left-handed hitter with pull tendencies in his swing. Uses a small leg kick. Tendency to land closed with his stride, affecting the ability to fully use his lower half. Uphill path to the ball. Showed obvious power in his swing during his BP round. Top exit velocity of 89 mph off the tee. Ran a 4.89 home to first time.

10/15/16
An solidly built prospect at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. A left-handed bat that has potential to hit for power down the road. Gets efficient use out of his lower half through a toe turn load. Has a natural, slightly uphill path with looseness to his hands. Strong kid and his bat speed stands out immediately. Barrelled up balls consistently in BP, driving multiple into the gap with authority. Reached a top exit velocity of 83 mph with much more in the tank. In the outfield he showed off fluid footwork and above average arm strength. Would like to see him play through the ball more consistently.
