Nathan Price: C/3B, (2023) White Oak, OH. 6-foot, 181-pound. In the box, Price clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. (66.7 mph bat speed average). (18.6 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 77 mph; showed a natural transfer, consistent feet, and soft hands. consistently had pop times of 2.04-2.09. Some flexibility and clean setup. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.58 in the 60-yard dash.
Hit: Aggressive stroke from the right side with the tools to do damage when he connect. Very fast hands with above average strength. All the tools to hit in the middle of a lineup.
Power: Easy gap abilities.
