6-foot-1, 165-pound thin build, with room to fill out. His delivery doesn’t require much effort, using good rhythm and tempo. He uses quicker armspeed and throws through an upper-¾ slot with a clean arm action. His fastball was between 81-83 mph. He showed a really good feel for his curveball with gradual break at 1/7 tilt with good depth 66-68 mph as his primary off-speed pitch. I like his projection and pitchability.
8/3/14
6-foot-1, 160-pound build. The southpaw comes right at you with a lot of effort in his delivery and a bit of head whip at the end. He throws from a high ¾ slot with his fastball sitting 81-82 mph. His curveball has some depth at 65-66 mph with 1-to-7 break.
6/2/14
6-foot-1, 160-pound southpaw. Repeatable delivery. Short arm action through high 3/4 arm slot. Velocity comes rather easy at this stage. Fastball sat 82-84 mph with good ASR. Demonstrated good command of a 69-70 mph with 1/7 action. Excellent two pitch. Consistently located in the zone. Sleeper prospect at this stage.
7/29/13
6-foot, 150-pound southpaw with average, athletic frame. Throws through ¾ arm slot with average arm speed and short arm action. Delivery requires regular effort. Fastball sits 78-80 mph with some natural cut. Relies on a 63-64 mph breaking ball with 1/7 movement down in the zone and a 71-72 mph changeup. Uses quick tempo and fills up the zone. Continually challenges hitters.
