The 6-foot-3, 175-pound is a tall and lanky prospect that should continue to fill out and become stronger as he matures. He showed above average athletic ability for his size and could project at a number of different positions, including the outfield. He recorded a 7.06 time in the 60-yard dash. In the field, he showed some of the softest hands at the event. Despite his size, he has clean and fluid footwork and consistently plays through the ball. He has short arm action from a high ¾ slot that registers 74 mph across the infield. At the plate, Trick, who hits from the right side, showed quick bat speed and a level bat path that generates gap-to-gap power. As he becomes stronger and incorporates more of his lower half, Trick will generate additional power at the plate.

Big, lanky body with future physical projection. Excellent baseball sense. Has good defensive attributes but is more third base or second base type. Registered a 7.2 60-yard dash time with solid arm strength (78 mph) across the diamond. Has upright power stance with bend in back knee. Shows good hand trigger, quick into hitting zone with long finish.
