A right-handed bat that starts in a tall stance. A physical prospect with an impressive build. Goes with a double tap for timing while keeping hands quiet prior to launch. A strong kid with above average bat speed through the zone. Stays inside the baseball well, showing line drive capabilities. Behind the plate he starts in a lower crouch. Gets out of stance well, creating direction while gaining ground. Arm and exchange skills are average presently. On the bump the right-hander offers a three pitch mix through a ¾ slot. Arm action is long with some funk to his delivery. Fastball comes in at 76-78 mph with occasional sink. Breaking ball has early break on an 11/5 plane. Showed solid feel for the offering that was mostly 66-67 mph. Slider has sweeping action, giving hitters another plane to worry about at 68-70 mph.
