Physical: Strong/durable 5-foot-8, 170lb frame with a compact build. 7.81 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, even stance with the hands waving slowly at the shoulder to start. Utilized a short lift and replace stride timed up with a gather load to initiate with some weight shift through a flat path into the hitting zone. Good lower half attributes hitting into a softer/adjustable front side producing a 33% line drive rate per Trackman during his batting practice round. Could lift the ball on occasion when getting extended, using good connection in the swing to drive the baseball to the LCF gap for extra-bases (320 foot batted ball distance). Added a T85 mph bat-exit velocity with developing doubles power.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured adequate receiving skills from wide left knee down. Pop times ranged from 2.00-2.09 with pre-set replaceable feet that got in line quickly towards the target, releasing from a well-exchanged, clean H ¾ slot out in front (T68 mph arm strength, accurate).
