7/21/20
Scouting Notes: One of the highest arm follows in 2021 class. 6-foot-3, loose arm with easy velo and feel for spin. Up to 86mph on this day and we've seen up to 90mph a few times this summer. Breaking ball was nasty at times. Also flashed a changeup that was a more than serviceable third offering. Fastball: 84-86mph. Fastball Spin Rate: 2100-2314 Breaking Ball: 72-75mph. Breaking Ball Spin Rate: Changeup: 77-78mph.

2/9/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Average tempo delivery that may be difficult to consistently repeat. Movements are still fluid and athletic. Long arm action through a ¾ slot. More ticks to come as he fills out and gets into his lower half more. Fastball: Comes out of the hand well. Moves downhill with occasional arm side movement. Strike thrower. Fastball Spin Rate: 2080-2180. Curveball: Tight breaking ball on an 11/5 tilt. Body tends to slow down prior to release. Overall solid offering with swing and miss potential. Curveball Spin Rate: 2070-2120 Changeup: Solid fade with good deception. Comes out of the hand with Fastball like arm speed.
2/02/20
2/2/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Tall athletic build with strength throughout upper body and lower body. Very smooth delivery with a little glove tap before separation into a long arm ¾ slot release. Fastball: Leaves hand with some zip with occasional arm side run topping out at 87mph. Fastball Spin Rate: 2146-2265 Curveball: Slows delivery up upon release at a 11/5 angle but spins a tight curveball with nice bite to it sitting around 71-75mph. Curveball Spin Rate: Changeup: Plus sell on this offering that looks like a fastball the whole way until it fades off with sink at the end coming in at 76-77mph

Body Type: 6-foot-2, 200-pound physical frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: 3/4 loose arm action. Lands slightly closed off. Some utilization of the lower half but still more power to incorporate into delivery. Fastball: 80-83mph with apparent arm side movement. Ability to locate fastball on the corners of the plate. Curveball: 68-73mph with 10/4 movement. Located pitch in the zone but not quite within the zone yet. Pitchability: Locates fastball on the corners. Curveball consistently in the strike zone.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 200-pound physical, athletic frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Easy delivery with a very fast/loose arm. ¾ slot guy that generates a tough angle for hitters on both sides of the plate. Fastball: 81-84 mph. By far his best pitch. Ball jumps out of his hand. Going to throw hard some day. Slider: 68-71 mph. Still in development stages. Playable when he throws it firm. Changeup: 70-72 mph. The more developed of the two offerings. Decent sell on the pitch that has some fade to it. Additional Comments: Definite follow. Secondary has room to grow but that arm is loose and really works. High velocity look without much effort at all.
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 200-pound physical, athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Leg kick timing trigger with quiet hands through load and into launch. Hit: Balanced swing with above average natural tools through the zone. Slight downhill tendencies at times which can cause inconsistent ball strike. Ball jumps when on plane. Power: 88 mph exit velocity. Present gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Run Producer Potential. Run: 7.77 60-yard dash. Field: Confident actions in the infield. Plays with fluidity and rhythm. Solid defender. Throw: Already impressive strength with more to come. Ball jumps out of hand. Defensive Projection: 3B.

A righty swinger that stars in an athletic stance. Uses a short stride for timing while maintaining barrel momentum until launch. Path is level with above average natural tools for class. Tends to get around the ball at times. Showed well above average pop when he stayed inside the baseball. In the infield he does a nice job of creating angles prior to fielding, showing quickness to his feet. Plays low through the baseball with average to slightly above average ball skills for class. Uses a ¾ slot showing looseness to his arm that projects for more strength. Big bodied right handed arm uses a quicker delivery with big leg kick that requires some effort. Fastball comes out of a high ¾ slot after getting good extension on the backside. Sat 76-78 mph with the heater and should have much more to come as he matures physically. Directionally sound working toward the plate. Changeup works with arm side fade at 68-72. Mixed speeds well and impressed with the ability to pound the zone.
