A 6-foot-2, 185-pound lean frame with raw strength throughout. On the mound, works from an average tempo delivery with high set hands and an explosive finish. Arm circle is full and clean and shows arm speed out front, coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball has some downhill tilt at 84-86 mph. Changeup shows late fade thrown with full arm speed at 80-81 mph. Showed a few breaking balls in warm ups, still developing the pitch. In the game, Crawford threw enough strikes with velo to be very effective. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats form a back leg heavy, slightly open set-up with a slight crouch, and rhythm in his hands. Uses a small leg kick with some lift in his load, hands are short to the ball, shows good extension in his finish. In BP shows a middle to pull, flat approach, mostly barrels, more pop than his 83 mph exit velo would suggest. Runs a 6.87 60. Defensively, shows some athletic and raw actions, gets behind fly balls, charges and picks the ball on the ground up well. Throws from an over the top slot, moderate arm action in the back, some accuracy and advanced arm strength, 86 mph. In the game, showed good hand eye and some barrel control.

Arm action is short in the back and come through a high-¾ slot with arm speed and quickness. Fastball ranges 82-87 mph with downhill tilt and occasional late sink and arm side run. Slider has 11/5 shape with tight spin and some depth, spins out at times, 74-74. Changeup is thrown with full arm speed and shows some fade, 76-78 mph. Crawford’s electric arm will make him a player to watch has he polishes his mechanics and continues to put on size. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats form a back leg heavy, slightly open set-up with a slight crouch, and rhythm in his hands. Uses a small leg kick with some lift in his load, hands are short to the ball, shows good extension in his finish.
