A durable 6-foot, 205-pound frame with strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with some rhythm and a short leg kick before gliding to the dish. Arm action has moderate length with a clean, controlled, and fluid circle before coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball sits 76-77 with some run to the arm side and cut to the glove side. Slider has 10/4 shape with rolling action at 64-67. In the game, Halvorson filled up the zone and challenged hitters.
A 6-foot, 205-pound durable frame with strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a slightly open, upright, and relaxed set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a coiling and arm-bar load with a moderate stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension.
