Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-foot, 170-pounds. Proportional and lean build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: LHH. Starts with a slightly open stance and upright posture. Preloads the weight into the back leg and utilizes a quick two tap stride with smooth rhythm. Vertical barrel angle with a level bat path. Hands work rotationally through the zone and lower half has strong push into a firm front leg. Matches plane with the pitch well.
Defense: In the infield attacks the ball with short footwork and prefers to let the ball come to him. Fields the ball slightly deep into the body with developing glove action and a firm glove. Registered throws at 70 mph from across the diamond.
Run: 5.21 runner home to first.
Delivery: Rocker style footwork working to an easy pivot foot. Works to a high pivot foot with slight lean back in the posture at the top of the delivery. High glove front side with heavy shoulder tilt upwards. Tall and fall style motion down the mound with a shorter stride and weight working rotationally to the first base side at release.
Arm: Action: High ¾ arm slot with a long and loose arm action.
Fastball: 74-77 mph. Shows some arm side running action and slight sink.
Slider: 68-71 mph. 11/5 shape with some depth to the bottom of the zone.
