10/30/16 - Peterson is a 5-foot-10 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Oklahoma’s 2017 class.  He ran a 6.83 60, one of the fastest times of the day, and a 4.18 home-to-first, one of the top RHH times.  He has an 89 mph exit velo, one of the top RHH exit velos. At the plate, solid consistent contact to the middle of the cage during hitting evaluations, starts slightly open, short stride with smooth load, loose and quick hands accelerated through contact, showed feel for the barrel.  In the outfield, 85 mph positional velo, one of the top velos of the day, quick catch and throw with momentum, high three quarters release, loose arm action, quick twitch actions, mostly accurate throws with back spin carry.
