A 6-foot-1, 165-pound lean frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. Works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm and below average effort. Arm action is long in the back, coming through a high-3/4 slot. Fastball keeps its plane, 80-83 mph, has previously been up to 85. Slider flashed depth with 11/5 shape, 69-70 mph. Changeup kept its plane, 77-78 mph. After some command issues early, really settled into his inning of work, challenging hitters.

Uses an early stride with a late heel plant for timing, some length in the bat path. In BP, showed a mostly middle of the field approach with some lift, some pull pop, and some barrels, 83 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.56 60. Defensively, shows above average hands and feet, shows athleticism on the slow roller play, throws from multiple slots with a quick release, 75 mph across the diamond with accuracy. In the game, went 2-for-3 with a double, single, and a strikeout.
