Runs a 7.53 second 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions at first base. Throws with a moderate arm stroke through a high-3/4 slot with accuracy at 77 mph across the diamond. In the game, went 1-for-2 with a line drive triple to center on a two strike breaking ball.

The recent Murray St. commit stands 6-foot-1, 185-pounds with some strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an even and front-foot heavy set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a rocking load with an arm bar and slight leg lift with a moderate stride before launching his hands on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a  gap-to-gap and flat approach, almost all barrels, 85 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.28 60. Defensively, shows deliberate footwork with above average hands. Throws with a moderate arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy and arm strength at 83 mph across the infield.  In the game, Tarrant went 3-for-3 with three singles and a stolen base.
