Eli Hill: 3B/SS, (2023) Westmoore, OK. 5-foot-10, 175-pound sturdy frame. During batting practice, Hill had a max exit velocity of 86 mph. Starts in a tall open stance with a big load, then uses a long stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed was above average, displayed upward swing plane and high finish. He Barreled up a few balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 71 mph; has sure hands, a clean exchange and consistent feet. Decent accuracy to the bag, used an-over-the-top slot with a short arm action. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.66.

10/27/19

A very lean and projectable 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame with long legs. On the mound, the right-hander works only from the stretch with a moderate leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action is long and loose in the back before coming through a near over the top slot. Fastball sits 76-80 with run to the glove side and occasional cut to the glove side, some strikes late. Chageup shows some late cut at 69-70 mph, few strikes. Slider shows 10/4 shape with some late sweeping action at 64-65 mph. In the game, Jardine locked into the zone at the end of his second inning of work retiring the last three batters he faced punching out two of them.

10/27/19

Showcased a stocky 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame with a strong lower-half. The right-handed hitter begins with a bent, even stance using a short leg-lift to initiate his swing. Displayed a line drive approach utilizing a flat barrel path into the zone while hitting into a stiff front side. Showed adequate feel for the barrel during batting practice while registering a solid 85 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Recorded a 7.77 60-yard dash. The primary third baseman flashed adequate footwork while getting around the baseball, creating momentum towards the target. Notched an accurate 70 mph arm-strength out of a high ¾ arm-slot.
