Body: 5-foot-9, 175-pound proportional frame.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with a slightly open stance and athletic posture.  Simple and traditional stride to a balanced base.  Short weight shift into the back knee with hands getting set quietly into position.  Lower half works linearly through the zone into a firm front leg.  Slight uphill bat path and does a good job of matching plane with the pitch.  Hands work quickly through the zone.  Maintains balance and athleticism throughout the swing.  Line drive approach and good barrel control.

Power: 84 mph exit velocity off the tee and 90 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  C-75 mph.  Pop Times: 1.97-2.03.  High ¾ arm slot with a short and quick arm action.

Defense: Behind the plate receives the ball with glove side knee in the dirt and a feel for pitch framing.  Shows flexibility in the hips when blocking the ball with hips and feet working back quickly and good upper body posture.  Feet work hard out of the crouch towards the bag cutting down the distance with good sync with the upper body.  Throws had good accuracy and carry to the bag.

Run: 7.47 runner in the 60.

Jase White: C/3B, (2022) Edmond Santa Fe, OK. 5-foot-9, 148-pound slim frame. In the box, White recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a controlled slow load, then used a toe tap just before his swing. Bat speed is some, displays flat swing plane and level finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found some barrels.Line drive approach. Behind the plate, recorded a pop time of 2.15-2.22, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 68 mph; showed a developing exchange, consistent developing feet and soft sure hands. Some flexibility and staggered setup.Showed some accuracy to the bag with a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.57.

2/02/20

Showcased a lean 5-foot-9, 148-pound frame with twitchy actions and room to add strength as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, open stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate an athletic swing through a slightly uphill path. Displayed fluidity in his hips allowing for the barrel to stay in the zone for an advanced amount of time. Demonstrated some lift to the pull-side while registering an 83 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. The primary backstop showed adequate receiving skills with a soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.12-2.21 on accurate throws of 71 mph from the crouch utilizing quick straight line footwork and average transfers. Featured comfortability while blocking, repeatedly beating the ball to the spot and creating soft walls with downward chest angles. The third baseman flashed adequate footwork playing low through the ball and arriving on time with regularity. Soft hands in front allowed for momentum towards the target yielding accurate 76 mph arm-strength out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot.

6/11/19

Displayed a 5-foot-9, 148-pound frame behind the plate, solid built frame. Right-handed hitting catcher works with quiet load to stride, maintains good rhythm throughout load with barrel load above helmet. More length in the stride, lands on heels, rolls through swing. Stronger lower half and base with more length. Uses simple foot lift, generated consistent barrels with strong hands through hitting zone. Middle to the pull side with some lift and 79 mph bat-exit velocities. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Receives the baseball with limited movement, quiet glove action. Recorded pop times ranging from 2.00-2.14 on smooth transfers, with 71 mph arm-strength out of the crouch. Showed some athleticism behind the plate, sits low in stance to catch the baseball, showed ability to block baseball with quickness to recover.
