Notes

Comments

7/28/21

Body: 5-foot-10, 165-pound lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with a neutral stance and athletic posture.  Hands get set at shoulder height with a relaxed back elbow and barrel angle set at 45 degrees.  Uses a simple and early stride to get the front foot down with weight evenly distributed between both feet.  Gets good linear push off the backside into a firm front leg.  Hands work linearly through the zone with a short and compact swing with good extension.  Level bat path and a line drive approach.

Power:78 mph exit velocity off the tee and 77 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: LH.  INF-71.   High ¾ arm slot with a clean arm action and shows the ability to drop the arm slot when the play dictates.

Defense: In the infield shows good glove action and soft hands.  Shows a feel for how to get body into position to make the throw with rhythm in the feet.  Quick and clean exchanges out of the glove.

Run: 4.90 runner to first base.

Delivery: On the mound uses short and simple footwork around the rubber to work to a high balance point.  Quick paced delivery with hands working high around the top of the chest.  Gets full weight stack on back side at balance point and gets slight push off the rubber.  Gets most of the momentum towards the plate by gliding down the slope.  Lands to a firm plant leg with strong body rotation.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with good balance and athletic delivery.

Arm Action: High ¾ arm slot with a clean arm action and release.

FB: 73-77 mph, good tilting action and pounds the bottom of the zone.

CB: 59-61 mph, 11/5 shape with some late depth and developing feel for spin.
