Logan Wade: RHP/SS, (2023) Newcastle, OK. 5-foot-11, 165-pound slim frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 79 mph. Began in a crouched stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap just before his swing. Bat speed was some, displayed upward swing plane and a front foot finish. Found a few barrels through his round. Base hit approach. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 75 mph; had developing footwork, a developing exchange and firm hands. Used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.28. Solid on the mound, where he showed some arm speed, he had a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Lands square with an upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-78 mph; some command. His 11/5 curveball (65-67) has tight action and some command.
