Hit: RHH. Starts with a wider base and athletic posture. Preloads the weight into a bent back leg. Leg lift stride with stall out at the top of the lift. Hands get set quickly into position with barrel head pointed back to the pitcher. Short and compact routes to the ball with hands pulling inside the ball well. Rotational path with the hands with a level bat path. Slight lean back in the posture at contact point.
Defense: Quick transfers out of the glove with feet working directly to the bag with pop times registering between 2.00-2.13 at 71 mph. Receives the ball with one knee in the dirt and shows a feel for pitch framing. Shows strong blocking technique with good posture and recovery skills.
