Preston Berg: RHP/3B, (2022) Bartlesville, OK. 6-foot, 205-pound solid frame. Advanced on the mound, used a quick arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses high effort. Showed consistent balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 82-84 mph; has running action. He shows tight action on his slider (75-77). Had some action and arm side command on his changeup (76-77).

6/11/19

A 6-foot, 190-pound durable frame with some strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm and a high up, down, and out leg kick before striding down the mound with quality leg drive finishing balanced. Arm action has moderate and quick length in the back before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball keeps its plane at  77-81 mph, mostly strikes. Slider shows 10/4 shape with cutter action at 71-73 mph, mostly strikes. Changeup shows some fade at 65-66 mph. In the game, Berg punched out three of the four batters he faced.

6/11/19

Displayed a physical 6-foot, 190-pound frame with advanced strength and feel for his body. The right-handed hitter begins in a square stance with knees pointed inward, utilizing a leg-kick to initiate his swing. A quick lower half whips a flat barrel path through the zone generating 81 mph bat-exit velocities . Showcased easy strength, delivering hard line drives to the middle of the field with regularity.  Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. The middle infielder demonstrated solid footwork, arriving to the ball consistently on time. A strong lower half and low center of gravity allowed for range to both sides. Registered accurate 76 mph throws out of a quick, ¾ arm-slot.
