Strong, projectable 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter starts in an open, upright stance with an active bat. Uses a toe-tap load and has a long, flat swing through the zone. Creates a slight arm-bar and finishes with his weight on his backside. Found some barrels in BP, with line-drives to his mid/pull side. Recorded an 83 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. In the outfield, shows aggressive footwork to field with a good glove. Made strong 87 mph throws with carry and accuracy from a high-¾ arm slot.
Tyler Gray: RHP/OF, (2022) Bishop McGuinness Catholic, OK. Long, lean, and projectable 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame with more room to add strength. On the mound, the right-hander works only from the stretch with an up-tempo delivery. Uses a high and coiling leg kick before exploding down the mound and finishing with athleticism. Arm action is has moderate length, shooting straight back before coming through a high 3/5 slot with advanced arm speed. Fastball pounded the zone at 85-87 mph with occasional arm-side life. Slider (73-74 mph) has late depth with tight spin, currently a swing and miss pitch with plus potential in the future.
