7/13/21

Positional Profile: 3B

Body: 6-foot-2, 175-pound long and projectable build with room for added strength and size to the frame in the future.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with an open stance and athletic posture.  Quick load into the lower half with a vertical bat angle.  Traditional stride back to neutral with the lower half working short and linear to a firm front leg.  Long levered swing and shows the ability to get extended.  Has a stiff posture at contact point with lower half.  Level path with a longer bat path through the zone.  Maintains balance throughout the swing.

Power: 86 mph exit velocity off the tee and 86 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  INF-76 mph. High ¾ arm slot with a short arm action and release.

Defense: In the infield attacks the ball with short and choppy steps and lateral footwork around the ball.  Fields the ball deep into the body with developing glove action and a firm glove.  Solid backhand technique and shows the ability to field the ball on the run with clean exchange out of the glove on the slow roller play.

Run: 7.91 runner in the 60.
