1B Easton Welch (Byng, 2027) put together a loud, very impressive round of BP. He had both the highest max and average exit velocities of 99.2 mph and 88.3 mph respectively. A physical first baseman standing at 6’1” and 261 pounds, he flashed big bat speed numbers topping out at 85.9 mph and comfort elevating balls - specifically pull side. Defensively, he was sure handed and worked well around the bag. The Byng product will be an exciting follow into the spring with strong, middle of the order, pop.
