A 5-foot-11, 151-pound middle-infielder, Karosas with some room to fill out and add more muscle to his frame. Displayed a line-drive approach from the left side of the plate, hands work with some quickness through the zone. Was able to find the barrel and launch the ball to his pull side with a clean extension. In the infield shows soft hands and proper footwork, arm works and throws are online, but currently lack strength. With added strength, A.J. will be able to take his game to the next level.
Karosas, a 5-foot-10, 145-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder who will add strength and size as he matures. Ran a 7.56 in the sixty with form and should be able to knock off a few ticks down the road. At the plate, balanced and slightly bent knees to begin, leg kick and hands work together, creates separation and looked to do more damage to the pull side during BP. Did get around a few balls that he snap hooked down the line, best swings were when he finished and stayed through contact, there is some looseness to the swing with an exit velocity of 82 mph. Defensively, was under control and moved well side to side, can gain more on throws if momentum is kept, arm was short with clean transfers and accurate. 2019 with added strength gains can play a big role with his current actions.
