Nelissen continues to show he's one of the more stronger, more mature 2027 players. 5-foot-10, 150-pounds and his game on the infield has really improved since we last saw him as a predominent catcher. Right-handed hitter who's strength plays a big role in how he can impact offence.
2027 SS/C Aaden Nelissen, 5-foot-10, 150-pounds - Impressed behind the dish as the youngest catcher and posted consistent pop-times between 2.34 - 2.43 and an arm at 57mph. Quick catch/throw for his age with all throws around the bag. Quiet right-handed setup who works to the pullside and looks to catch the ball out front. Still young and small but the defensive and offensive game will only continue trending upwards as he strengthens and matures. One better, more advanced 2027 catchers we've seen to date.
