Martynuik was one of Barrie’s top performing hitters at the Ray Carter Cup last month and once again put together some of the top offensive metrics at the event. There’s present strength in his game at 5-foot-11, 205-pounds and the right-hander hitter has the ability to lift the ball to the pullside. His peak exit velocity of 90.3mph was 2nd-best at the event and his average exit velocity of 83.9mph was 3rd-best. On the mound, the right-hander sat 78-80mph and rounded out his repertoire with a curveball and changeup.

‘27 3B Brady Martynuik produced one of the strongest rounds of BP at the event with the top exit velocity of 99.4mph and noticeable size for his age at 5-foot-10, 190-pounds. Right-handed hitter with big leg-kick that creates a pull-oriented swing and while there’s still development to come at the dish, the present strength and power was on display.
