2024 left-handed pitcher Braxton Mathews was one of the more impressive arms on Sunday. Athletic look on the mound at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds and he moves well with a minimal effort, repeatable delivery. The clean arm action immediately stands out and his fastball sat 78-83mph with the ability to locate. Works with a curveball and slider and although they’re both still developing, they both had some of the better spin rates at the event. An interesting 2024 who has the qualities to break out on the mound this next year.
