3/26/16
Showed more of what we have come to know of Kiser. Physicality is there at 6-foot-1, 200 plus. Left-handed bat with some looseness in the hands. Will elevate with power to pull side at times, gets through baseball and produces solid contact. Hands work with softness, projects as corner guy with left-handed bat but has also future on mound with arm strength and feel for curveball.

1/23/16
6-foot-1, 202-pound third baseman with clear physical traits. At the plate is a very quiet lefty hitter, hands start high, lots of weight on his back side, generates backspin, very balanced, good weight transfer, great extension through the ball. Has improved the lower half with added muscle, bat stays even through the hitting zone, makes hard contact, finishes high, power to the pull side. In the field is heavy on his feet, but has soft hands, takes proper routes to the ball, picks it cleanly, can use his lower half more when coming through, throws from a low ¾ slot with carry. Kiser grew several inches and added more weight over the winter. He’s grown into his body, and should be able to contribute with his bat over the summer.

07/05/15
5-foot-10, 185-pound prospect with some current physicality and room to add more. At the plate, Kiser showed some looseness in his swing with a good path to the ball and seemed to see it well. Kiser loads up on his back side with a medium stride to separation. His hands get back and show quickness through the zone. Defensively, showed soft hands and fielded ground balls cleanly and picked it well. Arm slot was a loose and low-3/4 slot across the infield. On the mound, Kiser worked out the full windup with a medium leg kick and a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball was 75 mph while his off-speed sat in the low 60's. Ability to repeat delivery and arm slot will pay dividends for Kiser. Overall, impressed people with his swing and barrel control.
