Lang uses a deceptive delivery that is across his body from a high-3/4 arm slot. His fastball topped out a 72 while he was able to command and fill the zone. Arm action works and has consistent rhythm in the back swing. Timing works and stays over the rubber, separating on-time. Delivery was fluid and is able to get out-front. Shows feel for off-speed and a quality pickoff move. At 6-foot-1, 160-pound, added size and strength will be a key factor for the southpaw Lang and his development.

6-foot-1, 160-pound left-hander is a 2017 grad with room to get stronger physically. Evan has a deceptive delivery as he separates early and hides the ball on his hip. With an over the top arm slot and clean arm action, Lang’s fastball topped out at 72 mph. Evan showed good feel for his 64-65 mph changeup, which had late dive in the zone. His curveball had 2/7 shape to it while he was able to throw consistent strikes at 60-61 mph.
