A left-handed pitcher standing 6-foot-3, 180-pounds, Berczi uses a slow tempo delivery while staying under control with his body for the most part. Jack also makes for an intriguing arm who can benefit from strength gains. Topping out at 85 mph, Berczi hides the ball well in his delivery which makes his fastball seem a little harder from a hitters perspective. His quick, ¾ arm slot generates not only a fastball that jumps on you, but also, a sharp 65-66 mph breaking ball with 2/8 shape. Jack also features a 72-74 mph changeup with late action down in the zone. Has also thrown more of a slider recently indoors in February that was in the low-70’s. Jack has great feel for his pitches and can be a very effective left hander with the ability to throw lots of strikes. Will be a high follow 2016 grad.

Berczi works from an easy low-3/4 arm slot with a quick arm. Fastball was mid 80's with minimal effort, natural run and real easy out the hand. Off-speed is still in production, proper arm slot for a potential slider. Good looking lefty.
