A 2021 outfielder who does a lot of things well on both sides of the ball. Ran a 6.61 and was 89 mph both from the outfield and in his exit velo. The arm works from all three OF spots and the stats will only trend up. On top of the numbers, it's a simple and quiet swing with minimal movement and can work the gaps and leave the park as well. THe body is athletic, he moves well and his best years are ahead of him as the body is going to get stronger at 6-foot, 170-pounds. The tools are there as well as the in-game performance, Pook is someone who is only going to get better as the ceiling is high and the future looks bright.
5/12/19
Pook, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound outfielder was impressive in Windsor, and in league play, he displayed his ability. In Pook’s first at-bat of the game, he drilled a ball to left field, it had enough distance, but just missed foul, a couple of pitches later, Pook hit a deep drive for a double to centre field. Pook continued to put together quality at-bats, displaying bat speed, with a controlled smooth bat path. The 26th ranked player in the 2020 class has an impressive toolset that plays in game.
