10/22/17 - Lev has grown both in size and strength. Now 6-foot-6, 180-pounds. The fastball has jumped up to and now works in the 83-85 range with a curveball that shows 10/4 shape and is 68-70. Does show spin and ability to get on top and out front, Lev is now a 2019 grad and has room for future gains as he continues to mature physically and repeat his delivery more and more.

6-foot-4, 160-pound two-way player with very high ceiling. Lev is a young 2018 who showed glimpses of how good he can be. On the mound he displayed a repeatable delivery, releases from a ¾ arm slot, leads with his hips, fastball sat 74-75, keeps it down, slows his arm down a little on the changeup, but keeps it down around 66-68 mph. Also displayed a curveball with 11-5 break, came in around 60-63. At the plate he swung it well, hands work, lots of movement with the bat, 75 mph exit velocity, good use of lower half. In the infield approached the ball well, showed a good feel for the position, if he stays in the field will likely get moved to the outfield. Lev is an interesting 2018 follow who has great ceiling on the mound. It’ll be interesting to see how he performs this coming summer.
