Melvin is an infielder for the Fieldhouse Pirates, and is a must follow in the 2022 class. At the plate, it's a loose swing with some bat speed and strength, and he has shown the ability to use the whole field and for some power. In the infield, the actions are clean; he displays body control and a quick arm that works up to 79 across. It's a projectable body, and he has lots of room to continue to refine his game in the upcoming years.
