2025 OF/2B Matteo Mendes was one of the top overall performers at the event with a good showing in all areas of his game. Smaller frame at 5-foot-10, 160-pounds but moves well in all areas and started his day with the top 60-time of 6.94. Was once again one of the top players in the outfield and flashed his arm strength, working up to 84mph. Left-handed hitter and starts in open stance with looseness throughout the swing. Impressive combo of elevation and line-drives during his round with an avg. distance of 275 ft. (best at event) and peak exit velocity of 87.3mph. Good first showing for Mendes who showed a well-rounded game.
